Siok Hun Leaving
UncategorizedOne of my colleague has resigned and will be pursuing her career in another big company. It’s kinda sad to me though because she’s a very friendly person. Not only is she very experienced, she is very patient when explaining things that i have difficulties in understanding. Most of all, she helps me a lot in my work. Anyway, since she’s leaving us, we’ve organized a lunch for her at Hai Ba Wang, opposite Chung Hua No.3

This is the person i mentioned…. Siok Hun aka Katherine
Being very experienced in her field, she is not like others who aim to earn a lot, all she wants to do is to be a housewife!!!

She’s very friendly. Whenever there’s new people coming into our firm, she’ll always take a chance to talk to them. When i first came to the firm, we enjoyed sharing our history in Australia. She’s actually graduated from Swinburne University, Melbourne.

Our situation were very alike actually, what we study are chose by our parents, and even though we like Australia very much, yet we still came back to Kuching.

Siok Hun sharing her experience

The world is so small. One of my colleague was actually high school classmate to my housemate in Perth. That’s Francis, Muzhafar who is resigning end of this month as well and Michael who is going to get married in July.

About the food…it’s really horrible. No wonder there were only 2 more tables beside us having lunch there.
Sunday night
UncategorizedWhen it comes to Sunday night, i would usually miss the time when i was in Perth, because i’m just too afraid and reluctant the coming of Monday, which means working.
I like reading blogs about Perth, and looking at the pictures bloggers post up in their blog.
I like to guess the place in the picture and feel relieve when i was correct, at least it prove that i haven’t forget about the places i’ve been in Perth. I do afraid the memories to fade away one day.
Some of my friends who are still studying in Perth will be having the toughest time for the next 1-2 weeks becoz final exam should be around the corner. I could only remember that i used to have lot’s and lot’s of fast food during this period or otherwise lot’s and lot’s of delicious food Di cooks for me occasionally. Anyway, good luck to all my friends!!!

The city of Perth in the evening
Group outing
Happy MomentsI’ve been working for 3 months now, that’s so fast!!!
I dare not mention about my work until now, that i finally over probation period.
It’s not a good working environment to work, but i doubt there will be any good working environment available in Kuching…so let’s not talk about it. Work just sucks most of the time. Some more it’s hard to come over this far without any friends here.
Anyway, my buddies who are studying abroad are returning for a term break. Kuching is nice again with them around.

Ah Liang and Shiou Poh

Everyone crossing the river to the opposite side. The sampan is damn shaky!!

Ah Liang and yen yen
We look for a place to sit down and took a drink, it was damn hot that night. Initially we thought there were this Iban dance but cancelled on the night we went there.
Testing
UncategorizedI couldn’t find a way to fix my previous problem where the post keep disappearing and reappear so i uninstall the entire wordpress and reinstall again. Hope it fixes now.
Let’s see if i can see this post tomorrow.
one of those days
Special Day, travellingMy mum went back 1 day earlier than me because i wanted to stay longer in Perth. We went to Karrinyup for shopping, where i bought a bag as a birthday present for my little sister

After we went home, i thought i didn’t took enough photos of my lovely uni. So we went back to Uni and take more pictures…
The view of the car park in front of the library. It is very full when there’s class. It is almost winter, so you can see that the leaves are changing it’s color.

The great library of UWA

Steamboat buffet dinner at Golden Dragon Restaurant.

We weren’t happy with the restaurant’s management that night. They refuse to refill the dessert when ppl would come to their buffet just for the dessert!!!

Poker games after the dinner. No real money involved though. The person who lose will be punished with a shot of Vodka/Johnny Walker…

As Asrul, my ex-housemate is a muslim, he don’t drink…that doesn’t make him escape from any punishment…his punishment is worst!!! hahahaha…
He told me not to put the photos on blog, but what’s the point i take then? hiak hiak…
My last Dim Sum in Perth at Emma’s Dim Sum restaurant…a place where you MUST try their egg tart.

It’s been a few weeks since i went to Perth. I still miss perth now. I ever thought of working there for another few years before coming back, but my parents strongly disagree. If i couldn’t get my family’s approval, even if i manage to fly there, and live there, it wouldn’t be happy, right? So i guess i’ll just stay back, and work like a bull here.
insomnia
UncategorizedIt is almost 1 in the morning. I have been trying to sleep but i just can’t. I can hear the dogs are barking outside, will it be possible that the thieves are making their way to earn a living? As your know our city’s security has been in a “red light” condition.
I used to be insomnia especially when exam is on the next day, i don’t have exam tomorrow , very soon though but i have endless things to do tomorrow. Working has changed my life entirely. From day to night, it is just hard not to think about work. Even after working hour, the unfinished part just keep staying in your mind. But i don’t think that’s the reason anyway, i wonder if it’s because of the tea i drank just now during my cousin’s wedding dinner. Arggh…i knew i shouldn’t drink tea at night.
It is really quiet tonight. I remember how i used to wake up in the middle of the night and find out my housemate is a regular friend of insomnia as well. hahahaha…at least the night isn’t that quiet when you can find someone to chat with. To come to think of it, both my housemates suffer insomnia while staying with me in Perth. Could it be the feng shui’s problem?? hahahaha…i hope not because i really love that home.
I guess i’ll just try to sleep. Sigh…sleeping is just another task, how Sad!!
My Graduation day
Happy Moments, Special Day, travellingA while ago, i went back to a place i called my second home. It was the place i spent my happiest moment, with all my buddies, Perth.
It was a very short trip with my family to attend my graduation ceremony. Like how ppl used to say, all the money spent is just to attend this ceremony. I can see how my parents desperately looking forward for this time to come. And this is it.
That afternoon, we went to a shopping center my brother claimed to be the largest in Perth. We rented a car and i drive my family there. I used to spend a few of the suburb night there.
My favorite store there is a sport shops called Rebel. Being influenced by my housemates, from a person who never watched football match to a person who is willing to spend RM200-RM300 on a football jersey, that' crazy!!
It's nice to come back to my uni again. I miss the days when i'm studying. Though i keep complaining uni life is damn stressful, i now realised that it is more stressful in the working life. How i wish i could still be a uni student.
All my friends turn up for the refreshment that night, it’s nice to see all of them again.
I even received a bouquet of flower from them, hahahah, i never received a flowers before!!! Too bad i can’t bring them back…
I’m back
UncategorizedYeah….I’ve finally get my blog rolling…
I’m moving my blog to a new server becoz there’s some issue with my previous server plus they are not going to offer me the same service when i signed up a year ago, so here i go, there is still many things i need to fix but at least i get to see my blog again…hurray!!!
Dead of Alive
travellingAfter not blogging for a whole week, i think this blog is in the border of Dead or Alive. I hope it’s alive but i think it’s more like a Vampire, neither dead nor alive!
I mentioned before that i got a job after i return from New Zealand. So yeah, most of my time was devoted to my job. Though it’s a normal 8-5 job, i couldn’t help but felt tired after that. So all i do is to catch up with my tvb drama, and went to my bed. It’s like life without soul!!
After trying to be strong for the past 1 and 1/2 week, i’m finally sick today…fever and bad headache. I guess i just couldn’t stand sitting all day, checking documents. But i’m getting better now. I’ll spend next week working in Sibu the whole week, i hope it’s a good news. Though Sibu isn’t any big city, but still, working outstation is not what everyone could experience right?
Continue with my trip in New Zealand…
Traveling on the West Coast of South Island, We drive towards Greysmouth, passing by Fox Glacier, one of the must go place.
Too bad it’s such a bad weather, so we didn’t go too deep inside. It’s already breathtaking outside, but due to raining, i dare not risk the life of my camera…not much pics on it though.

I said driving in New Zealand is such a good experience becoz you see great scenery all the way. I forgot whether this is Sea or Lake, it kinda mixed up for me already… :s

Sometimes, driving can be very dangerous as well becoz you cross valleys which can be life threatening

View at Greymouth / Haast Village. Couldn’t remember becoz i personally thinks that west coast isn’t worth going. Though there might be some adventurous/outdoor games but when it comes to bad weather…it’s nothing but the size of Tabuan Jaya. I was sick when i reached Haast Village so my mum wanted to cook me porridge. When we ask the storekeeper where they put their chicken and fish, this is what they replied “We’re still waiting the truck to arrive, there hasn’t been supply of Chicken and Fish for the last 3 weeks”!!!! No chicken and fish, but minced beef…what porridge can be eaten without fish and chicken? TEOCHEW style porridge! As long as there’s egg.

View on the way to Queenstown.

Stopping by at Wanaka town, the Puzzling world attracted us. Lot’s of interesting stuff…such as this illusions…hahaha…
those are ancient toilet bowls!! I’m trying my best to act like i’m shitting ok??!!

Somewhere near Queenstown, we came across a fruit processing factory…
Apricots tree??

That’s all for now, hope i could be more determined in updating my blog in the future!!!
Wellington
travellingHeading to Wellington, the capital city of New Zealand

along the road, we saw something interesting…

Horse Poo anyone??!!!
The city of Wellington

The view of Wellington from captain cook straits

See how the ppl live on top of the hills?
Wellington is by far the hardest city to drive in the entire nation. Even holding a map, we just couldn’t manage to follow the route, too many “one way” road.
Taking the Interislander Cruise, we leave the city to the south island. It’s a 3 hour journey and the view is breathtaking. The cost is NZD65 per person while vehicle traveling with the cruise cost from NZD159. Traveling across the cook straits, there’s many little island in between the north and south island…and ppl do live in that little island!!

Departing from Wellington on the North, the cruise stop at Picton. It’s a very big cruise with 3 restaurants inside, a mini cinema, and some passenger seats. We didn’t stop at Picton but drive all the way to Greymouth on the west coast.
